Passionate about neurodiversity and inclusion
Wavelength is owned and run by Zoe Wagland, an Autistic psychologist with experience in primary, secondary, further, and higher education settings.
Zoe has worked in mainstream and specialist schools, delivering highly tailored training to staff. An experienced trauma-informed practitioner, class teacher, and SEND provision coordinator, Zoe combines classroom practice with policy‑level change to improve outcomes for neurodivergent and SEND students.
Training and workshops are designed to meet the needs of individual education settings, with evidence‑based classroom strategies embedded into hands-on training opportunities. Also available are one to one and small group mentoring session to develop plans to work with students with specific needs. Zoe’s neurodiversity-affirming approach centres on strengths‑based assessment, sensory‑aware environments and transparent communication with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Skilled in evidence synthesis and training design, Zoe bridges classroom realities and OFSTED evaluation guidelines to create learner‑centred education systems that demonstrate clear progression through data that can be presented to key stakeholders.
